Day 2 “Promises” music video shoot..from BRRrrr to Flowers everywhere! April 5, 2011
It’s day 2 of shooting “Promises” music video, and Central Park is in full bloom with beautiful spring flowers. What a difference from the cold day-1 shoot. Claudia Bellanca was on set at 5:00 a.m. and was ready at the first location in Central Park by 6:30 a.m.! Hair and Make-up Artist, Meaghan Hester, pulled through despite her busy schedule. Wardrobe Stylist, Colby Bemis found the beautiful vintage dress Claudia wore for her solo performance. Much sought after model, Matthew Landen is the perfect onscreen boyfriend. The chemistry between the two is superb! Co-producer, Yolanda Guillen, had to go back to FL but flew back to NY specifically for day 2 of this music video shoot. Director of Photography, Clayton Combe and Director, Jordan Horowitz, carefully picked the most beautiful spots of Central Park. Day 1 of “Promises” Music Video shoot…it’s still cold!!! March 31, 2011
“Promises” music video was supposed to be shot ahead of “You’re Not My Boyfriend” but it kept on snowing in New York, and it was freezing! Since the video was going to be shot outdoors, the producer decided to wait for better weather. On the day of the scheduled video shoot, it rained all day, so it was postponed. The very talented and creative NY director, Jordan Horowitz, preferred to shoot during an overcast day, in keeping with his vision of how “Promises” should be. Although it was very cold in Central Park, Claudia Bellanca performed and did not let the weather get in the way. The afternoon was dedicated to a performance with the band at the Naumberg Bandshell. John Secolo and Anthony Natoli heated up the guitar strings and Nick Carbone artfully hit the drums. The audience was amazed at Claudia’s performance and all could not believe that this teen could sing and move the way she does. Co-producer, Yolanda Guillen and music producer, Gerry Williams flew in to New York to assist in the music video production. Claudia wrote the lyrics to her song, “Promises”, which, undoubtably would soon be a favorite song for all who hear it.

Shooting “You’re Not My Boyfriend” Music Video! February 20, 2011

Claudia Bellanca flew to Florida to shoot “You’re Not My Boyfriend” music video! The production took less than 2 weeks, and it was major rush, but everyone was working hard and feeling lucky. Co-producer Yolanda Guillen kept the wheel moving with Eddie Forbes, of Beemac Films. The insurance was approved a couple of days ago. Cheryl Sims facilitated the use of Lake Highland Preparatory School grounds, props and bus! The creative, and energetic director, Wuz Good (B.o.B, T-Pain, Flo Rida), flew in from Los Angeles. The incredibly gifted music producer, Gerry Williams, hand picked and rehearsed the band for the shoot. We still did not have the male lead. Everyone was relieved, when model/singer Keith Eaton, was available. However, he could only make it part of the time. What a surprise to find out that Keith had an identical twin! It turned out, that Keith Eaton was able to rearrange his schedule to be there for the whole shoot. Two days ago, Claudia had food poisoning. She was not feeling well today, but what a trooper! Like a seasoned professional, Claudia charged through the day with vigor. It was a beautiful sunny, slightly breezy day for the shoot. Everything went smoothly and the shoot ended an hour earlier than expected. It’s a wrap!
